Note:  Most mead should be served chilled, at 10-15°C (50-60°F) with sweeter meads at the warmer end of the scale.  The serving glass should be 6-8 oz. with the lip slightly more narrow than the bowl. Meads generally age well, with sweeter varieties improving for 10-15 years. Once open, mead will last for several weeks if kept refrigerated.
